(1) Forming properties

①The alloy has good plasticity in the hot state process. The forging and die-forging temperature is 420~475°C, and the hot deformation with 80% deformation rate is carried out in this temperature range.

The cold stamping performance is related to the state of the alloy. The cold stamping performance is good in the annealed (O) state, followed by the H32 and H34 states, and not good in the H36/H38 state.

(2) Welding performance

①The alloy has good performance in gas welding, arc welding, resistance welding, spot welding and seam welding, but it has a tendency to crystallize cracks in the second argon arc welding. Hard brazing performance is still good, while the soft brazing performance is poor.

② high strength and plasticity of the weld, the strength of the weld up to 90% to 95% of the base metal strength. However, the weld is not high gas tightness, and it is recommended to use 5A03 alloy as solder, which can improve its gas tightness and eliminate the tendency of cracking.

(3) Mechanical processing performance

The cutting performance of the alloy is not good in the annealed state, but it is improved in the cold hardened state.
