Product Introduction
TA881A electrical detector pen provides simple and accurate testing for the AC voltage from 12V to 1000V in a circuit. An electrical detector pen is widely used for break point checking, and live & neutral wire testing to meet our daily simple circuit detection requirements. It is also designed with low battery indicator, selectable sensitivity range and auto power off function to support your measurement process.
Before using the electrical detector pen, it would be better to test with a known live power source first to ensure that the voltage pen is in good working condition.
When distinguishing the Live/Neutral wire, separating two wires if the live and neutral wire is too close; if it cannot be separated, then you can distinguish them according to the strength of the detected signal, the one with strong signal is the live wire, and the weak one is neutral wire.

Application
● Live/Neutral wire test for socket
When using NCV sensing function to test the socket, the electrical detector pen will emit audible buzzer and flick bi-color analog bar light once close to the live wire, while no response to the neutral.
● Break point checking
Quickly detect the break point in a circuit, emitting sound & light alarm when there is presence of the voltage in the circuit, but no feedback without voltage existing.
